Living Skills Development
Increase Independence
Our care givers offer a one-on-one instruction that will focus on daily living skills training and community socialization. This service typically provides for 4 to 10 hours of support each week. This service can be provided to individuals living independently or in their natural home.
Funding includes DMH general revenue or any Medical Waiver. We serve Counties located in St Louis City, St Louis County, and Jefferson County.
Providing Care for an Adult or Child with a Development Disability
Increasing self-independence and self-reliance is an important step to developing living skills. The goal of our our living skills development service is to assist, help boost self-confidence and better utilize the ability to care of oneself. Living skills development is a perfect choice for people with disabilities of any age. It is never to early to learn. This service will assist children and young adults mature toward the goal of gaining their own independence.
